Common questions
Is it safe to let someone access my computer remotely?
Yes — we use an encrypted remote tool, you can see everything we do, and you can end the session at any time. We never access your machine without you present.
What issues can be fixed remotely?
Most software issues — malware, slow performance, application errors, configuration problems, account setup, printer issues, and more. Hardware issues require in-person service.
What if you can't fix it remotely?
If we can't resolve it remotely, we won't charge you for the time. We'll let you know if it needs an in-person visit.
Do I need to install anything?
We'll walk you through downloading a small remote session tool — it takes about 2 minutes and can be uninstalled afterward.
Are you available outside North Georgia?
Yes — remote support is available anywhere in the US.
Free advice — try this first
Before you book, try this
A few minutes of prep before the remote session lets us solve more in less time — which means a smaller bill.
- Restart the PC first — Sounds obvious. Solves a surprising percentage of issues by itself. If the problem persists after a fresh restart, it's a real problem worth our time.
- Run Windows Update — Settings → Windows Update → Check for updates. Install everything pending, then restart. Many "weird behavior" issues are fixed by a patch that's been waiting to install.
- Be able to reproduce the problem — If the issue is intermittent ("sometimes Chrome freezes"), we can't fix what we can't see. Try to nail down a reliable way to trigger it before the session starts. If you can't, that's fine — we'll watch and wait, just budget more time.
If that doesn't fix it, that's what we're here for. The $24.99 diagnostic still applies — no fix, no charge.
