How it works
Bring in the drive or device
Drop off the drive, machine, or storage device. We assess the situation before quoting anything.
Honest assessment
We tell you what's recoverable and what isn't — and what it will cost. No surprises.
Recovery attempt
We use professional recovery tools to retrieve as much data as possible without risking further damage.
Data delivery
Recovered files are delivered to a new drive or storage device of your choice. You review before you pay.
Common questions
What if you can't recover my data?
If we can't recover anything, you don't pay for the recovery. The initial assessment is free.
Can you recover from a physically damaged drive?
We handle logical failures (deleted, corrupted, formatted). Physically damaged drives (dropped, flooded, burned) may require a specialist — we'll tell you honestly.
How long does it take?
Depends on the drive size and extent of the issue. We'll give you an estimated timeframe after assessment.
Is my data kept private?
Absolutely. We handle all data with complete confidentiality and delete our working copies after you've confirmed the recovery.
What's the best thing to do if I think I lost data?
Stop using the drive immediately — the more you write to it, the harder recovery becomes. Bring it in as soon as possible.
Free advice — try this first
Before you book, try this
If you've lost important files, the actions you take in the next hour matter a lot. The wrong moves can make recovery impossible.
- Stop using the drive immediately — Every write to the drive — even just browsing the web — risks overwriting the data you're trying to recover. If it's your boot drive and the OS is still running, shut down. The longer it stays powered on, the worse the odds.
- Check the Recycle Bin and File History first — If you just deleted something normally, it's probably in the Recycle Bin. Windows also keeps Previous Versions if File History is on — right-click the folder → Properties → Previous Versions.
- Do NOT install "recovery" software downloaded from the internet — Most of what comes up in Google ads is either a scam or installs to your damaged drive (overwriting the very files you want). If the drive is making unusual noises (clicking, grinding), don't run any software at all — that's physical damage and needs hands-on work.
If that doesn't fix it, that's what we're here for. The $24.99 diagnostic still applies — no fix, no charge.
